 Winner of 9 scientific awards and author of 17 scientific publications. Alberto in his first company AC-Gen Reading Life (2012), his hereditary cancer diagnostic test based on genetic predisposition markers has allowed him to diagnose and treat more than 500 patients and has obtained the recognition of entities such as MIT Technology Review, EuropaBio, or the Ministry of Health. Subsequently, with Biome Makers, a company that was born in San Francisco in 2015, Alberto was able to apply the concept of personalized medicine to agriculture using a unique biomarker not studied before, identifying the microorganisms that populate the soil to help farmers around the world to stop the destruction of soil fertility. This innovative idea that combines massive DNA sequencing and artificial intelligence to develop a functional interpretation system for agricultural soil, makes it possible to prevent diseases, improve fertilization programs and, most importantly, preserve soil life.
