Dr. Bertha Tlapal Bolaños is an agronomical engineer specialized in agricultural parasitology, with a degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Chapingo. She pursued her master's and doctoral studies in phytopathology at the Colegio de Postgraduados.
Her research is focused on integrated crop management through the rational use of chemical products to promote sustainable agricultural practices. Her areas of investigation include the use of inducers of resistance mechanisms, the management of antagonists such as Trichoderma and Bacillus to foster balanced soils, and the study of the role of nutrition in disease presence.
Furthermore, she conducts research in the field of integrated crop management, exploring alternatives with low environmental impact. Her extensive expertise and knowledge significantly contribute to the advancement of science and the promotion of environmentally friendly agricultural practices.
