Renata Alcaraz Solis
Plant Health Manager for the LatAm region at FMC.
Renata has a degree in biology from the University of Guadalajara, specializing in plant physiology and genetics.
She has worked in the agricultural sector for 16 years in vegetable production and exporting companies as a research and development manager, where she was responsible for new product development, validation of new technology addition, grower development and training, process optimization and agricultural production management.
With experience in agronomic management of greenhouse and shade net crops, evaluation of phenotypic profiles for different market segments in different climatic conditions, production and grafting of vegetable seedlings, development and phenological crop mapping, development of agronomic management guidelines and strategies, post-harvest evaluation of vegetables and good agricultural practices.
She has been responsible for technical, regulatory, new product development and commercial development of portfolios in LatAm and the United States in more than 20 crops.
She is currently focused on growing the portfolio of biostimulants, crop nutrition, seed treatment, pheromones and biocontrol, with a strategic focus as Plant Health Manager for the LatAm region in FMC.
