He holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Concepción, Chile. He earned a Master of Science and a Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) from Colorado State University, USA. He is a faculty member at the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (Chile) and Director of the Agriservice Laboratory. Additionally, he serves as an international consultant in soil science, plant nutrition, and precision agriculture. He is a founding member of the International Society of Precision Agriculture (ISPA) and a founding member and current Vice President of the Latin American Precision Agriculture Association (ALAP). Rodrigo has authored or co-authored more than 180 scientific and technical publications.
