
Ph.D. Rodrigo Gutiérrez
Full Professor, Faculty of Biological Sciences, Pontifical Catholic University of Chile
He holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Michigan State University, USA. His primary research interest is applying systems biology approaches to understand the mechanisms governing plant form and function in response to nutrition and the environmental challenges posed by climate change. He is currently a Full Professor in the Faculty of Biological Sciences at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, where he leads the Systems Biology Laboratory. In addition, he serves as Deputy Director of the Millennium Institute for Integrative Biology, Associate Researcher at the Millennium Institute’s Center for Genome Regulation, and Adjunct Researcher at the Institute of Ecology and Biodiversity.
