Dr. Juan Manuel Palazzini

Independent Researcher at CONICET, Institute for Research in Mycology and Mycotoxicology (IMICO), Argentina

He holds a degree in Microbiology and a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the National University of Río Cuarto (UNRC), Argentina, and serves as an Independent Researcher at CONICET in the Institute for Research in Mycology and Mycotoxicology (IMICO). He has over 15 years of experience in studying and developing biotechnological strategies for managing fungal diseases in economically important crops. His scientific career focuses on the biological control of mycotoxin-producing pathogens (Fusarium graminearum & F. oxysporum), microbial bioinput formulation, and reducing agrochemical use in production systems. He led the development of bioformulations based on Bacillus velezensis and Trichoderma harzianum applied to wheat, maize, and tomato, emphasizing integrated management strategies.
